🏏 Audi A6 3.0 Tdi Gearbox Oil Change

I'm looking at a 56k mile 2009 3.0 TDI, full service history, but no notes on the gearbox oil change. The dealer says its not essential and that "the oil does not lose its properties under the influence of high temperature and is designed for a very long period of use Volkswagen Touareg". My understanding is that its suggested to be changed at Hanny. I have an A6 C6 Allroad with TIP, recently had my gear box drained and fluid replaced - be aware that the gear box oil is just over £30 per litre!! I am led to believe that the gear boxes are 'quoted' as 'sealed for life', how ever in the small print it is advised to change the gear box oil at 90/100,000. 1.39 MB.
